We wanted to take a moment to look back at 6th June 2024 here at Newington Fish Bar, where we celebrated both National Fish and Chips Day and the 80th anniversary of D-Day. It was such a fantastic day filled with community spirit and support for our armed forces charities.

We were thrilled to see so many of you join us and enjoy our delicious fish and chips, knowing that for each meal sold, £1 went to charities like The Royal Navy and Merchant Navy Associations, Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Your support truly made a difference!

Over 60 people party order from the 80th D-Day anniversary day! – all wrapped in paper with an outer layer of newspaper for authenticity!!

Did you know? – ‘fish and chips’ was not rationed during WWII because it was a staple meal that boosted morale!🐟

Thank you all for being a part of this special day. Your enthusiasm and generosity made it a memorable event. We look forward to more opportunities to come together and celebrate our community here at Newington Fish Bar.
